Services

My doula services include two in person prenatal interviews, plus unlimited phone calls before the birth.  At your first appointment, we will discuss your birth plans and talk about your concerns and hopes for your birth.  At the second appointment, we will practice several comfort measures and finalize anything you feel you will need before your special day.  I am available at any time on the phone if you need to ask questions and/or just talk.  It's important to me that we build a rapport long before your delivery.

When that day arrives, I will provide continuous labor support when and wherever you need me.  I have been trained in massage, counter pressure techniques, communication skills, and other comfort measures that will assist you during your labor and delivery.  I will stay with you after the birth until you are comfortable and ready to begin your "babymoon".  I am also trained to help with breastfeeding, if necessary. 

I will also meet with you after the birth within 2-4 weeks to help with any postpartum support you may need and to process your birth experience.  Unlimited phone calls are also available during that time.

Fee

My fee for doula services is $350.  I believe everyone who wants a doula should have one, though, so I can offer payment plans and/or trade services depending on your personal circumstances.  I am open to discussing your situation with you, so please don't hesitate to ask me.
